Pepper the French Bulldog

While I’ve worked as a photographer at the RSPCA Sydney Shelter for many years, this shoot was one of my first as a full-fledged pet photographer. I couldn’t help feeling a little nervous! Every animal responds differently to being photographed, so I wanted to make sure I was ready for any possibility. That’s why my camera bag is always full of treats and toys!

Thankfully, Pepper the Frenchie was a breeze to work with, and I couldn’t have asked for more amazing clients than Skye and Luke. On top of that, the weather was perfect, and the location in Newtown made for a great variety of shots.

Pepper seemed to know why she was there and spent the whole time smiling and posing for the camera. She has so much personality, and I’m so happy to have had the opportunity to capture these photos!
